CM inaugurates Neelam Sanjeev Reddy Research Center
Chief Minister Mr. N Chandra Babu Naidu inaugurated the newly constructed Neelam Sanjeev Reddy Research Center near the Hi-Tech City in Hyderabad. Speaking at the program, he said that eradication of poverty is one of the main aims of the Government and that plans were made in that direction.

Ministers Sri NMD Farooq, Sri Chikkala Ramchandra Rao and Sri N Kishtappa inaugurated SC, ST Welfare establishments and other community centers in Anantapur. The Ministers re-iterated that there is no truth in Congress comments that the CM promises were not being implemented. The Ministers later monitored the construction works of Yogi Vemana Jalasayam.

All arrangements for the inauguration of Yanam Yedurulanka Bridge in Amalapuram on the name of Late Sri GMC Balayogi were completed. The bridge was constructed at a cost of Rs. 110 Crores and took 2 years for the construction. Earlier, the Ravulapalem Bridge is the only connection between the districts. Chief Minister who will be inaugurating the bridge tomorrow will also take part in inauguration of RDO Office built on the model of Parliament, DWACRA Groups Training Center and a irrigation project

The Cabinet Sub-committee that went on to study the Mid-day meal program in other states met the Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu. Minister for Primary Education Sri Mandava Venkateswra Rao said that the Government decided to re-introduce the program with the support from the public and other societies.

The 1st Convention of the Urdu Sangham was held at Hyderabad in which Minister Sri Chandra Mohan Reddy took part and felicitated prominent poets. The meet asked the state Government to promote urdu newspapers as it promoted the language at school level.

South Eastern Railway felicitated 20 artists at a program held in Visakhapatnam. TDPP Leader and Chairman of Railway Standing Committee Sri Yerran Naidu took part in the program.

Visakhapatnam Additional SP Mr. Sanjay Jain said that the Police have held 5 naxals who were involved in blasting of Police Stations in Visakhapatnam. Powerful ammunitions were recovered from them.

Criminal cases were filed on 11 police officers in the state under the section 403 and 406. Most of the police authorities on who cases were filed worked as CI's and SI's earlier.
