13 Naxals surrender before DGP 13 Naxals of the People's War Group surrendered before the DGP Sri Pervaram Ramulu. The naxals worked at various levels at the group. Speaking with the press, Sri Ramulu said that there are 5 major platoons in the state being operated by the group. These includes Karimnagar - Nizamabad, Warangal - Khammam border, Visakhapatnam-Vizianagaram. The arms being seized from the group recently was displayed to the press. Sleuths of the Anti Corruption Bureau has identified a college named National College in Vijaywada that has been operating on the name of a Degree and Junior College. The college has only 22 students but has been taking grants from the Government stating that the college has 40 teachers and 20 staff members. The grants allocated was to a tune of Rs. 4 lakhs.
