Babu Mohan, Muthyam Reddy and Nerella taken into the Cabinet
Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu said that to inorder to promote social law he has changed his cabinet. He gave clean cheat to ministers and said that those involved in the food-for-work scandal will be punished. Later the Cabinet met under the leadership of Chandrababu Naidu and discussed on various issues for one and half hours. Chief Minister said that his Government will never consider caste, creed or region for electing new Ministers. The new cabinet also had a reshuffle with Mr. Kodela Sivaprasad coming to the Health Ministry, Mr. N Janardhan Reddy going to Panchayat Raj, Mr. BV Mohan Reddy to Municipal, Mr. N M D Farooq to Primary Education and M. Damodar Reddy going to Transport Ministries.

Farmers staged a protest infront of the Collectorate in Kurnool. They demanded that water should be allowed to flow throught the canals in Kurnool and cuddapah districts. The farmers who protested with the support of CPM warned to increase the protest if not given.

Speaking to the press Mr. Babumohan said that he will strive hard to make Andhra Pradesh as "Swarnandhra pradesh".

A Protest was held by the BSNL Employees in front of the Telecom General Manger's office in Srikakulam. They alleged that lot of scandals have been done in the purchase of computers and in transfers.

A Workshop was held in Warangal aimed to improve the performance of women farmers in the region. Speaking to the press, Mr. Narasimha Reddy said that various new techniques will be taught in the workshop.

Eenadu starts Delhi Edition
Eenadu – leading Telugu daily started its Delhi Edition today. Chairman of Eenadu Group Mr. Ramoji Rao switched on the Delhi Printing System with the help of a remote control from Ramoji Film City.
