CM announced new members to Cabinet
Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu has announced that there will be a reshuffle in the State Cabinet. Among those who are expected to join the Ministerial posts are Dommata, Medak MLA Mr. Cheruku Muthyam Reddy, Andol, Medak MLA Mr. Babu Mohan and Yellareddy, Nizamabad MLA Mr. N Anjanyelu. These MLA's are expected to fill the Ministerial posts which were empty because of the death of Sri Karanam Ramachandra Rao and resignations by Mr. Saddula Devayya and Mr. Pocharam Srinuvasulu. The swear-in function will be held tomorrow at 9:45 AM at The Raj Bhawan in Hyderabad.

Vinayaka Chathurthi observed today
Vinayaka Chathurthi - the festival of Lord Ganesh was observed in all areas of the state with much devotion. Idols of Lord Ganesh were installed in almost all corners of the street. Sweets (particularly Laddus) were distributed. Cultural programs were being organized. Twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad under the guidance of Bhagyanagar Utsav Committee were installed idols of Lord Ganesh.

The Central Team that was visiting various drought hit districts of the state confirmed that the state was indeed suffering from drought particularly in Chitoor and Cuddapah districts.
