All Parties unanimously supports Government for legal battle against Karnataka An All-Party Meet was held under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Mr. Chandrababu Naidu seeking support from all political parties in the State for the upcoming dispute in the Supreme Court. TRS President R. Chandrasekhara Rao, Congress Leader Govardhan Reddy and K Lakshman of BJP extended full support to the Government on the usage of Krishna water and the fight for the state for its will full share. CPI submits Memorandum to the Governor The CPI has submitted a memorandum to the Governor Dr. C. Rangarajan demanding a probe into the conduct of the Food-for-Work scheme and dismissal of the two ministers involved in the Scandal from the Cabinet. The Telugu Desam Party welcomed the decision of Congress to collect Peoples' opinion on Food for Work program. Mr. Sivaprasad said that they can challenge with congress in any issue either development programs or others. He said that Congress is maintaining dual opinions on some issues and felt that Vailar Ravi should provide free current to people in his own state and then suggest to Governments in different states. The BJP demanded the Government to establish fast track courts to settle the land litigation and other cases in a time-bound manner. Meanwhile, Police seized a lorry carrying food grains which were intentioned for the food for the work program but were diverted in Kandukoor Mandal in Prakasam district. Spurious liquor was back in production in some rural areas of the state and this was made evident with the seize of such liquor in Dharmaram village in Nizamabad Former Registrar of Andhra University, J.M. Naidu has been nominated Member Secretary of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Science and Technology. He will serve the position for a term of two-years.
