Ministers blocked at Cuddapah
Ministers K Vijayaramarao, Bojjala Goapalakrishna Reddy, Kottapalle Subbaraidu were being blocked for over an hour by Congress demonstrators and farmers. They demanded that the Government should withdraw the ban on black jaggery. Congress President and Member of Legislature Mr. Ramachandra Reddy was arrested on charge of provoking farmers to block the Ministers. The Ministers continued their official programs without the presence of the local MLA.

AICC Secretary Mr. Vayalar Ravi, CLP Leader Dr. Y S Rajasekhar Reddy, Senior Congress Leaders T Subbarami Reddy, Venkat Rao, Mayor Rajana Ramani and others part in various programs in Visakhapatnam. Speaking at a press conference, Mr. Ravi said that the State Government is not at all coming to the rescue of farmers in the state.

2 people died when Diwali crackers blasted accidentally in Komarada village of Vizianagaram. An 8th Class student studying at the local BC Hostel was seriously injured.

Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu took part in various programs in Khammam. He inaugurated a Shadi Khana and a Police Auditorium. He made surprise visits for nearly 4 hours in various other areas.

The State Government decided to release waters from the Sri Sailam Project as water levels begin to raise. He said that steps are being planned to ensure that released water is utilised properly. A Task force will be setup in the districts adn collector will be the chairman of the task force.
