Government to simplyfy its procedures
Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu interacted with Collectors of various Districts, Cabinet Ministers and other officials of the Government. Rules in Government were not clear and that an expert committee will be set up to clarify and simplify procedures. Mid-Night meal program is postponed for a month.

Koti Kumkumarchana Tickets of Srisailam to be sold in Post Offices
The tickets of the "Koti Kumkumarchana" at Srisailam will be sold in all Post Offices in the State. Arrangements are made to send Prasadams through Speed Post. Speaking to the press, Viswanatha swamiji told that the pujas will be performed for 20 days starting January 9, 2003.

A Mega Lok Adalat was held in the District Court in Guntur. A Large number of pending cases were cleared on the occasion. The lawyers didn't attend alleging that the adalat was organised without their consent.

Junior lecturers of Telangana region met today and discussed a lot of issues in Warangal. They demanded that Physical Directors to be promoted as Junior Lecturers and Aided Lecturers as lecturers to degree classes.

The Rangareddy Police killed robberers early this morning when the robbers tried to attack the Police.

State Under 19 Ball Badminton Championship began today in Krishna. The AP School Games Celebrations were also taken place during the same.

The All India Open Karate Championships began today in Vijayawada. More than 200 players are participating in the event. Games will be held in Juniors and Senior departments.

The Under 18 Tennicoit championships started today in Anantapur. Players from 17 districts are participating in the event.

Balotsav - 2002 Celebrations began today in Khammam. A large number of students participated in the event.

Major decisions taken at Collector's Meet
Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu took major decisions on the final day of the 2 day collector's meet. The Government decided to make B.Ed a two years course. The Students of the B.Ed have to do practicals in any School before they can get the degree. The Government decided to grant the authority to the Collector's to increase the pay for Teacher Volunteer's. The National Games that are to be held in December will be organised purely on the Sponsor's money.

The APSRTC has decided to increase the Luggage Charges of the Passengers. A 25 Kg Luggage will now on be counted as 1 unit in Ordinary and Express services.

The Members of Olive Green Gang were killed in an encounter in Rangareddy. Sammayya, Chanti and others were among those who were killed.

The Government has decided to provide driving licenses through all e-Seva Outlets. This will be implemented in all parts of the state soon.

Former Minister Mr. Damodaram Munuswami passed away in Hyderabad. He is survived by his two sons and two daughters.
