Prof. Chandrakanth bags the best Pharmacist award
Vice-Chancellor of Kakatiya University Prof. Chandrakanth Kokate won the best Pharmacist award. This has been awarded by the Indian Pharmaceutical Association for the year 2001. The award will be presented on December 13 in the 54th Indian Pharmaceutical Congress in Pune.

The CPI State unit has opposed the recommendations of Vijay Kelkar alleging that the recommendations were unsuitable for middle class people.

Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu has wished all the Telugu People in the state and in abroad a Happy Diwali. He said that Diwali has a great importance in our culture.

PCC President Mr. M Satyanarayana Rao and BJP State Unit President Mr. Chilakam Ramachandra Reddy has greeted the people of Andhra Pradesh a happy Diwali.

The Congress has decided to attend the All Party meet on Tuesday only if the Chief Minister hoists it. They felt that it is not fair for K Srihari to organise the All Party meet in which discussions on important issues like Krishna Tribunal etc. will be held.
