Jagadeeswara Rao suspended The Government suspended Municipal Commissioner of Anakapalle D.Jagadeeswara Rao. He has been suspended on the charges of transforming the funds allocated to the setup of e-Seva kendras to the salaries of the employees. The State Government has ordered NIMS to remove PRO Pandurangarao from the services. The Government also ordered the formation of a 2 member committee on this issue of misutilisation of funds by the PRO. 7 people were killed in an accident on the national highway in Vijayawada. 28 people are injured and were admitted in the hospital. Senior IPS Official and Managing Director of the State Tourism Department Mr. C Anjaneya Reddy has resigned. Police Commissioner of Visakhapatnam Mr. Prasada Rao inaugurated the 'Crafts Bazaar' at Prahlada Kalyana Mandapam. Speaking on the occasion, the Branch Manger of Lepakshi Mr. K Venkateswara Rao said this mela will continue till December 9, 2002. He said that sales of Rs. 12 lakh can be achieved through this mela.
