5 naxals killed in an encounter
5 Naxals of the extremist People's War Group including 2 women were killed in an encounter in Ilapur forests in Warangal. Police recovered weapons and other artillery from the area.

The Telugu Desam Parliamentary Party (TDPP) Meet is held today in Hyderabad.
