Central Government announces aid of Rs. 174 Crores
The Central Government allotted Rs. 174 Crores to Andhra Pradesh as aid. Rs. 28 Crores of the aid money will go to farmer who lost their crop due to failure of seeds as Input Aid. Rs. 112 Crores will go to those farmers who could not sow seeds, Rs. 27 Crores for animal protection (Dairy), Rs. 5 Crores to Drinking Water Supply in towns and Rs. 2.61 Crores for public health.

Trawlers begins sinking in sea
A Trawler on the seas - MFV Chur - has began sinking in the sea. The crew of 14 members in it were found missing. The Coast Guard at Visakhapatnam was alerted and began rescue operations. Coast Guard Helicopters and Boats were deployed. The trawler weights 110 tonnes and is owned by Four Seasons Shipping.

CLP Leader tours various constituencies in the state
CLP Leader Dr. YS Rajasekhar Reddy began his tour to various constituencies and interacted with Congress delegates in Khammam, Hanumakonda and Kothagudem. However, the leader found that the party wasn't strong in Khammam as the members have indifferences among themselves.

National Games Judo competition at Port Stadium
Director of Judo Games Mr. Sailesh N Tilak said that Judo Games which were scheduled at Swarna Bharathi Indoor stadium will be held at Port Stadium. 8 teams will be taking part in the Judo competitions. The Andhra Pradesh Team was selected at Vesley College at Begumpet and will be given training in Visakhapatnam.
