Congress demands list of corrupt IAS and IPS Officials
Congress Party demanded for the release of names of IAS and IPS who were involved in scandals for which the Government gave a blunt no. Earlier CLP Leader Dr. Y S Rajasekhar Reddy said that the files containing list of officers involved in various scandals is at the Government and questioned why it is not providing the list to the Assembly. The Government though agreed to provide the list first later said that the list will be made public only after ACB enquiry. Revenue Minister Sri Ashok Gajapathi Raju said that once the charge sheet is completed, the same will be made public. With this, Congress members raised slogans stating that the Government is supporting them.

Minister Sri N Janardhaan Reddy, today, said in Assembly that the Government will not be giving any new permissions or provide renewals to quarries who are taking sand from River and River basins. Those to whom the lease was already given will be allowed to continue till the lease expiry time.

Opposition parties said that the Government has not provided any fixed rules in the running of hostels and issue of scholarships. Minister Sri JR Pushpa replying to a question, said that the incharge warden system at all hostels will be stopped.

Minister Ms. Uma Mahdavareddy said that Government will be send notice to Cement factories who were polluting the environment and to those who are not maintaining greenery as per the rules.

Minister K Sivaprasada Rao said that enquiry is going on fake paramedical colleges and certificates and that action will be taken on those who were involved.

Minister Sri Nimmala Krishnappa said that Rs. 4 Crores was asked to the Chief Minister as budgetary support for dairy farmers in the state.

All Set for Bill Gates visit to Hyderabad
Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Microsoft Corporation - Mr. Bill Gates is expected to arrive at the Capital City of Andhra Pradesh - Hyderabad at around 11 PM today. He will be taking part at a Conference to be held at Jubilee Hall tomorrow. He will take part in other programs at a local Community Hall and in Urinisation program in Mahabubnagar.

The Mughal is also expected to visit the Microsoft Development Center at the Hi-Tech City which is the only Development center of Microsoft Corporation outside its Seattle center.

Writer Sri Kaloji dies of lung infection
Renowned Writer and Revolutionist Sri Kaloji Narayana Rao died this afternoon. He is 89 and had a surgery recently. An infection in lungs took him to comma while he was taking treatment at NIMS. His body will be taken to Warangal tomorrow and will be kept at his Kaloji Foundation for public homage. On 15th November, his body will be given to Kakatiaya Medical College as per his wish. Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu, Home Minister Sri Devendar Goud, Minister Sri K Sivaprasad and others paid homage to Sri Kaloji.

Sri Kaloji was a revolutionist and fought against the Nizams and British. His Naa Godava and many books reflected his ideas. The Indian Government has honored him with Padma Vibhushan.

An accident at Singareni Colleries claimed the lives of two when a mine side wall fell all of a sudden. Lack of security measures was believed to be the prime reason. Employee Unions demanded for ex-gratia to the families of the dead.

The School Games Federation Hockey Competitions came to an end today at Tirupathi.

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam decided to increase promotion of the temple to attract crowds from various parts of the state. The Devasthanam will begin making Audio video promotional material in all regional languages. Secretary P Krishnayya said that special stickers will be made available and supplied to all states.
