State Legislature to meet tomorrow
The State Legislature will be meeting tomorrow. This round of the Assembly will be for over 10 days. The Question and Answer Session and Zero Hour Session will be as usual. Discussions on AIDS, Indicators, Drought, Irrigation, Food-for-Work, Power reforms and related problems, farmer problems such as Black-Jaggery, setting up about Krishna River water tribunal were expected to be on talk.

Chief Minister and TDP Party Leader Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu said that the Party will not take a second thought at group-politics within the party. He addressed a party gathering at NTR Trust Bhawan in Hyderabad today. He said that group politics damage the goodwill of the party at the people.

Congress said that it is ready to put 33% seats to women irrespective of whether or not a decision will be made on this issue will be taken at the Parliament. APCC President Sri M Satyanarayana Rao took part in a party program in Nellore.

Sri Amanulla Khan dies
Former MP Sri. Ananulla Khan died of brief illness today. His fueral will be held tomorrow. Among those who paid homage to Sri Khan were Governor Dr. Rangarajan, Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu and other cabinet members.

3 children died when they were trying to play with kits from a wall that was under construction in Nalgonda. The children died of suffocation as they could not get air supply in the debris.

Dope Testing to be done for the first time in National Games
Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu said that the Government will involved all State Departments in the upcoming National Games. The Indian Olympic Association Meet and that National Games Organizing Committee and other sub-committees met today.

Speaking at the meet, Mr. Naidu said that his Government is working towards making Hyderabad as the Sports Capital of the country. He said that an All-party meeting will be held and requested all the political parties to extend their help to the Government reminding that the games were National Games.

This National Games will be of special importance as Doping Testing Systems will be used for finalists of games. Posters and other promotional items for the games were released.

CMD of AP Transco Rechal Chatterjee said that she will be working to make AP Transco as a World-Class institution. She interacted on various problems related to Power with representative from Telangana region.

Viswa Hindhu Parishad(VHP) asked the State Government to abolish Region Change like in Tamil Nadu.

The State BJP Unit decided to support the Government on the setting up of Krishna Water Tribunal. BJLP Leader Mr. Indrasena Reddy said to the press in this regard.
