TDP says it is satisfied with Warangal Mahanadu

Telugu Desam Party said it was completely satisfied with the Mahanadu program held in Warangal and that TDP was able to hear the views from all cadres. Speaking with the press, TDP Party President Sri N Chandrababu Naidu said that the party will be holding peoples survey and members survey which will be taken into account in framing the policies of the Party. He said that in about six months time, an integrated review will be done to discuss the issues raised.

President of AP Engineers Association resigns and joins duty

Mr. Ravinder Reddy, President of AP Engineers Association resigned for his post and attended to duties. Minister Sri Pocharam Srinuvasa Reddy said that a letter to this effect was received and asked the remaining members to join their duties.

Ethiopian Ministry delegation visites NGR Agriculture University

A delegation from the Ethiopian Ministry has visited the Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University at Rajendra Nagar in Hyderabad. They studied the pattern of education, research and other programmes followed by the University.

3 eSeva centers to be setup at Vizianagaram

The State Government has decided to establish 3 e-Seva Centres at Vizianagaram as a part of the DFID programme. The cost of these centres will be Rs. 6 Crores ansd will be established at Dasannapet Thurakala Lake, IDSMT Bhavan and St. Joseph's School. With this the residents of Vizianagaram can pay their power, telephone, water, property tax and other bills through these centres.

CM hands over bonds to APEEMT

The Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu handed over the bonds that are guaranteed by the State Government, to meet the commitment of pension and other terminal benefit of employees of the AP State Electricity Board to Mr. V.S. Sampath, Prinicipal Secretary, Energy, and Chairman of the AP State Electricity Employees Master Trust.

The State Cabinet that met today decided to allocate works not less than Rs. 1 Crore to each constituency towards the Janmabhoomi programme.
Andhra Pradesh Congress Party staged a rally and demonstrated at the Metro Water Works office demanding for the withdrawal of the recently hiked Water Tax. Minister Sri NMD Farooq said that the Government took the decision to hike the Water Tax because the Water Works Department was in losses and the hike was made just to cover up the losses.
