Telugu Desam Party President Mr N Chandrababu Naidu said that Polit bureau of the Party will be meeting tomorrow to decide on Lok Sabha Speaker. However he did not comment as to when it will announce.
Chief Minister Sri N Chandrababu Naidu visited various areas in Nandikotkuru area in Kurnool district. He checked the Roads development works, Water shed and other Water management programs. He commented that Congress will never know of the benefits of Janmabhoomi programme as long as they stay in Hyderabad and ignore the districts and villages. He also visited Kandukuru village in Mutcharla of Ranga Reddy. He promised that there will not be any lack of funds for the Water programs in the state. He inaugurated Road development works under Food for Work program.
Election Commission Incharge-Commissioner Mr. Rajat Kumar has held an All-Party Meeting in regard to the Lok Sabha Election for Amalapuram. The Notification will be released on 6 May and that the last date for the withdrawl of nominations will be 16 May. Only 25% of the Voters in the constituency have Voter Id Cards and the remaining voters are requested to cast their vote showing their identity (either Ration card or Driving license). However, Political parties were dissatisfied at this. Meanwhile, APCC President Sri M Satyanarana Rao said that the decision as to weather or not a Congress candidate will stand for the election will be left over to AICC President Ms. Sonia Gandhi as Wife of Sri Balayogi is expected to stand from the region.
