PCC Vice President Sri Sudhir Kumar dies
Pradesh Congress Committee Vice-President Mr. P Sudheer Kumar died due to Multi-Organ disfunction. Sri Sudheer Kumar is the third son of former Governor Sri P Siva Shankar. He is 42 and is survived with a wide and two children. Sri Sudheer Kumar went to foreign to undertake medical care and was admitted at Apollo Hospitals three days ago and underwent treatment at his brother. PCC President Sri M Satyanarayana Rao was surprised at the sudden death of Sri Sudheer and expressed grief.
Warangal all set for TDP Mahanadu
Warangal is now all set for tomorrows Mahanadu programme of the Telugu Desam Party. This Mahanadu is of prime importance for it being in the Telangana region. About 6000 members of the TDP will be visiting the venue and discuss on various social and political affairs. Speaking to a private channel, TDP Party President Sri N Chandrababu Naidu said that good governance is possible by TDP and that they (the party) will be an ideal example on how political parties have to be. He said that performance indicators clearly indicate that TDP is the ideal party for good governance. He said that TDP will remain to provide support to NDA externally. It is believed that the Warangal Declaration will give more preference to the Agriculture sector.
The Government of Andhra Pradesh decided to follow Kerala's way of promoting tourism. As a first step towards this, the Government has given powers to District Collectors to institute a District Tourism Promotion Committee (DTPC). Nalgonda, Mahaboobnagar, Vijayanagaram, Srikakulam and Anantapur already was in this track while the other districts will soon be following.
The 2-day Vasantha Hela - festival at the Mutyalammapalem beach concluded. The festival succeed in drawing good crowd from the city and from other interior regions of the district. Special stalls were setup, sports and cultural programs were held. District Collector Sri Sunil Sharma said that a Water Sports Academy will be built at Mutyallammapalem.
