Telangana Rashtra Samithi President Mr. K Chandrasekhara Rao presented cash of Rs. 50,000 each to seven weaver families in Bhoodan Pochampalli of Nalgonda District. The amount presented was collected by 'bikshatana' program.
The Vasantaa Hela - Mutyalammapalem Beach Festival began at Visakhapatnam. Minister of Forests Sri Ch Ayyannapatrudu, Minister for Tourism Mr. T Srinuvas Yadav, Minister for Transport Sri B V Mohana Reddy and others participated.
Bahujan Samadvadi Party (BSP) Leader Sri Kanshi Ram addressed a meeting at Kothapeta in Amalapuram as a party of canvassing its party leader. He said that BSP has put its candidate not just to hike its BSP members in Lok Sabha but to impart Ambedkarism culture in Bahujans - particularly those of ST.
The Indian Meteorological Department said that South West Monsoon for the Perennial India will be between June to September.
Chief Minister Sri N Chandrababu Naidu visited a photo exhibition being setup on the places visited by MLA's in their recent foreign trip. He also held a meeting to discuss on their experiences and suggested them to write suggestions and experiences so that a booklet can be published.
