The Naxalites of the People's War Group blasted the Mandal Revenue Office at Bhamini in Battilli mandal of Srikakulam district. According to SP, Mr. PV Sunil Kumar, the naxalites blasted and damaged the computer room and records.

The MP, Mr. C Narayana Reddy, has been nominated as a member of the Inter - Paliamentary delegation to the conference in Morocco from March 17 to 23. The delegates attending the conference will discuss on terrorism.

The MIM stalled the assembly for over an hour demanding a discussion on law and order situation and the steps being taken by the Government to prevent impact of the developments in Ayodhya.

T Subbarami Reddy and Nandi Yellaiah were the Congress nominees for the Rajya Sabha. Speaking to the Reporters the two former MLA's thanked AICC President Sonia Gandhi, for the nomination and promised to strive to work for strengthening of Congress.
