Police and Naxal forces begin severe gun battle at each other in the forests of Tupakulagudem in Karimnagar - Warangal district borders. An SI and six naxals were killed as early news arrived. Hundreds of Police were deployed in the area and the battle is still on. The Police recovered 10 weapons and a Light Machine Gun (LMG) from the site. Warangal DGP Mr. D Gautam Sawang said that Ambulance and Medical facilities were already deployed in case of any emergency.
The Convener of EAMCET 2002, Mr. KVAR Sharma reconfirmed that there will not be any change in the examination date. He said that unless the exams are held on April 29, the admissions work could not be completed by August end.
