Chief Minister Sri N Chandrababu Naidu campaigned extensively at Medak supporting Telugu Desam Party candidate Ms. Karanam Uma Devi for the Medak Constituency. Speaking at a public campaign, Sri Naidu commented that Mr. R Chandrsekhara Rao separated from the party just for a Minister post. He said that development of Telangana area is possible only by TDP and that for the development of the area it need not be divided into a separate state.
Eenadu - Leading Telugu Daily began 7 new editions. The Editions were inaugurated in a high-tech manner by the Hitech-Chief Minister Sri N Chandrababu Naidu. The new editions will now cater to the needs of Khammam, Nizamabad, Ongole, Mahaboobnagar, Chennai, Bangalore and Mumbai. Special features in the news papers will also be incorporated from July 1, 2002 edition.
Vice Chancellor of Andhra University reiterated that the conduction of EdCET 2002 is fairly done. He spoke with the press when he visited Hostels of the University to monitor the development works.
