Ms. Vijaya Kumari wins Lok Sabha seat from Amalapuram constituency

TDP Candidate for the Amalapuram constituency and the widow of former Lok Sabha speaker - Ms. Vijaya Kumari won the election with a margin of 313657 votes.

Over 125 huts were guttered in a fire accident at the Kakinada Diary Farm.
Chief Minister Sri N Chandrababu Naidu said that the State Government is taking steps to see that Agriculture sector will be getting 9 hrs and that the house-hold sector will be given 24 hrs of uninterrupted power.
