Dr. Abdul Kalam Azad is ideal candidate to be President - says CM

Chief Minister Sri N Chandrababu Naidu said that Dr. Abdul Kalam Azad is a well known personality and that he is an ideal candidate to be the President of India. Speaking on CPI and other left parties decision to keep Col Lakshmi Sahgal as its candidate, he said that Left Parties has made the issue into a delimna.

All arrangements for EdCET 2002 completed

All arrangements for EdCET 2002 examination to be held tomorrow were completed. Candidate who have not yet received their hall tickets can take duplicate hall tickets from their respective City Coordinators. Over 2.6 Lakh candidates were writing the examinations all over the state.

The National Council Meet of the Samata Party began at Vijayawada today. Speaking at the Defense Minister and the party leader Mr. Gerorge Fernandez said that India will never use its nuclear weapon at any nation and it will be used only the rival has fired at the country.

Home Minister Sri Devendar Goud inaugurated e-Cops service in Hyderabad. The e-Cops facility will be setup at 225 Police stations in Commissionerates of Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Ranga Reddy and Srikakulam districts. The facility is expected to be extended to other police stations in the next year.
