Chandrababu Naidu says TDP is happy at Congress support on Abdul Kalam candidature for President of India
TDP Party President Sri N Chandrababu Naidu felt happy at the Congress Parties decision to support Abdul Kalam as candidate for President of India. He said that the Communists have to re-think and stay united with the decision and support Abdul Kalam on this.
Chief Minister Sri N Chandrababu Naidu held a Video-Conference on Food-for-Work and Neeru-Meeru program. He felt dissatisfied for lack of statistics and other works of various District Collectors. He said that frame-work has to be made to see that rain water is conserved.
It is decided that Intermediate marks will be taken into consideration starting from EAMCET 2003. A Reforms Committee will be setup to look into the issue.
2 officers and 3 staff members of the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation were suspended.
