Naxals continue to raise their terror - kills 4 cops
4 police men died when the PWG blasted a Climb Over mine in the Karampudi forest area in Guntur. Constable Balaji Naik died on the spot and 3 others died when they were taken to Hyderabad by a Helicopter. 4 others were seriously injured. The Police were on their way to a nearby village when they got information that PWG has conducted a Gram Sabha. Home minister Mr. Devendar Goud said that it is very unfortunate after drop of talks though they are ready for talks with PWG.

PJR demands for suspension of MSR and YSR
CLP Leader Mr. P Janardhan Reddy said that M Satyanarayana Rao and YS Rajasekhar Reddy are also responsible for the behaviour of supporters at the Airport and they too should be suspended. He questioned why YS Rajasekhar Reddy had withdrawn from the cases put against Chandrababu Naidu in the past. He said that some members are in favor of Chandrababu Naidu and he had never taken power projects on their children. He also questioned why no disciplinary action was taken on Sudhakar Reddy who was responsible on the firing of Gandhi Bhawan incident.

Opposition stages walkout after Speaker says No for CBI to investigate in IAS, IPS dealings
The Congress and CPM parties alleged that Government is not allowing CBI to Interrogate the 60 IAS and IPS officer involved in various Corruption cases. They walked out of the assembly when the Speaker Ms. Prathibha Bharathi didn't allow a discussion on this.

A discussion on "Velugu scheme" was held in the Assembly under 304 Law. Congress said that the Government is taking too much loans for this scheme and is wasting money. Responding to this, the chief Minister Mr. Chandrababu Naidu gave the statistics of this scheme to the assembly.

Government said that providing Group insurance in time to those fishers who died while fishing is under consideration. Minister said that according to law, if the body of the deceased fisher is not found they can't claim insurance within 7 years and they are considering of improving this law.

The Swadesi Jagaran Manch demanded that a report should be made on the foreign investments made in each and every state of the country. Speaking in a press meet in Hyderabad, Mr. Gurumurthy said that the present situation in the state simulates the British rule in the country. He added that they are thinking to hold a rally in the first week of October.

The St. Paul Table Tennis Academy of Hyderabad awarded prizes to the winners in the table tennis competitions today. Arjuna award winner and 7 times national champion Mr. Kamalesh said that we are all responsible for the fact that we didn't get a Olympic gold though we have a huge population. He also said that children should be given training in sports right from their childhood. He distributed prizes to the winners. Veteran Players Mr. Lalit Mohan Chandar and others were felicitated on the occasion.

Telugu Desam Party Unit President of Tekulapalli Mandal Mr. Lakkineni surrender was attacked by Naxals on Monday night.
