Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu said that the Government will be continuing the Janmabhoomi Programmes till untouchability is completely wiped out from the state. He took part in Grama Sabhas in Vizianagaram and East Godavari districts. He expressed dissatisfaction at the authorities for not constructing roads to villages in Kothavalasa.

Police recovers Panchaloha idols
Commissioner Mr. Prevaram Ramulu said that Hyderabad Task Force Police arrested 4 persons and recovered Jewellery and 7 Panchaloha Idols dating back to 17th Century which costs in Crores and that these pieces are usually put in Museums. He said that special police staff will be deployed in the twin cities for the upcoming MCH elections.

South Central Railway Mazdoor Union of the Diesel Shed Branch staged a dharna demanding the immediate stopping on giving Workshop, School and Health maintenance services to outsiders and increasing of Budgetary allocations. Spectacles for Governement School children
Health Minister Mr. N Janardhan found that there are about 12,500 school going children in Medak District who are suffering from visual impairments such as lack of clarity when looking at board etc. Hi recent visit to Sangareddy village clearified this and thus he said that he will come out with a program to provide free spectacles to Government School students.

Top Notch Naxal Killed
Senior Peoples War Group Leader and District Committee Member - Illanna - was killed in an encounter near Basheerabad village. He was reportedly moving on a cycle when a police party came across. Illanna then threw a hand grenade at the police party which alerted the police who returned fire at him. A Wireless set, a walkie talkie, a grenade and a revolver were recovered from him.
