All arrangements for tomorrow Municipal Elections were completed. Special security was deployed at all important areas and at polling booths. Votes thumb impressions will also be taken for times Municipal elections. These thumb impressions will be fed into computers to avoid fraud voting by a person who has already voted. Any one getting involved in these crimes will be booked and a criminal case will be filed against him.

Telugu Desam Party President Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu expressed his confidence and said that people will vote for the TDP and will bring a win for the party. He said that Congress and MIM have not done any good for the people and TDP's work in the past will lead to its victory.

TRS Party president Mr. Chandrasekhara Rao said that TDP is distributing money in certain areas to attract more voters.

Hyderabad Commissioner of Police, Mr. P Ramulu said that only the Candidate and an agent who will be from people of Hyderabad region will be allowed and that no outsiders will be allowed to enter and if any such incident takes place, their vehicles will be sealed and case against them will be booked. He said that as many as 1200 policemen will be working during the election period.

A remand prisoner in Rajahmundry Central Jail tried to commit suicide having mental sickness. He was brought to jail for murdering his family member for being identified as HIV Positive.

Navy Chief visits Visakhapatnam Naval Base
A ceremonial parade was held at the Naval Base commanded by Arvind Singh, Commander. The Parade was attended by a large number of sailors and their families. Speaking on the occasion the admiral said that their job was tougher as they have to safeguard a longer coastline compared to the on-land international border.

Nizamabad Police have been successful in tracing the printing unit of the Peoples War Group Naxals. The print unit is maintained in Gandhinagar in Hyderabad. The police have traced about the print unit basing on the information available in Naxal Ilanna's diary.

Satyam Computer Services announced a profit increase of 36% during the Q3 and an increase of income by 34%.

Dr. Reddy Labs announced that it is providing VRS facility to its employee. Dr. Reddy's has over 800 employees out of which 200 will be coming under the purview of the scheme.
