APCC Party President Mr. M Satyanarayana Rao campaigned in Musharabad area in Hyderabad along with the Mayor candidate Mr. Nagendar. Meanwhile, Telugu Desam Party President Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu participated in the Hindupuram and Tirupati. He said that Government will release another 5000 gas connections in the near future. Death Anniversary of Sri NT Rama Rao observed
The 6th death anniversary of former Chief Minister Mr. NT Rama Rao was observed by his fans and Telugu Desam Party. Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party President Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu, Union Minister Mr. Bandaru Satyanarayana and other leaders paid tributes to the beloved leader at NTR Ghat in Hyderabad. An Amar Jyothi rally was later held.

EAMCET 2002 on April 29
The Engineering and Medicine Common Entrance Test (EAMCET 2002) was scheduled to be held on April 29, 2002. This was announced by Minister for Technical Education Mr. M Damodar Reddy. He said that all efforts were made to complete the counseling between July 1 and August 15 and starting of classes will be done from September 1.
