CLP Leader Sri YS Rajasekhar Reddy said that Congress will win in all Municipal Corporations if the elections are conducted fairly. He took part in the 2nd day election campaign in Hyderabad in areas including Asifnagar, Malakpet and Maharajgunj constituencies. He commented that the TDP led Government reforms were always helpful to the upper section of the society.

TDP Mayor Candidate promises no hike in property tax after elections
TDP Mayor Candidate for Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Sri Theegala Krishna Reddy said that TDP will not be increasing power tariff or make any changes to Property Tax. He took part in the Meet the Press organised by Andhra Pradesh Union of Working Journalist in Hyderabad.

TDP releases its party election manifesto for Rajahmundry
Telugu Desam Party launched its election manifesto for the upcoming Municipal Corporation today. Film stars including Jaya Pradha and Rajendra Prasad campaigned for TDP today. Meanwhile, Congress Party criticized the TDP manifesto and challenged TDP for an open discussion on the developments that TDP made over the years.

Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu took part in today's campaign in Hyderabad. He began his rally from the Secunderabad constituency. He commented on how Congress and MIM were hindering the development of the state. He spoke in Urdu in areas where minorities have a hold.

National Women Hockey Championship 2002 begins
National Women Hockey Championship 2002 began at Tirupati today. TTD Junior Engineer Sri Narayana official inaugurated the meet. About 25 teams from various states in the country were participating in the meet. In the first match, Tamil Nadu won over Mijoram 4-0.
