7 dies in road accident 7 Tourists died in a road accident at Sadisivapeta of Nellore district when a lorry collided with a Tata Sumo. The accident was occurred at 7 in the morning opposite to the MRO Office. All the tourists belong to West Bengal.

An APSRTC Semi Luxury bus was stolen in the morning at Devarakonda RTC Depot of Nalgonda district. The Bus later met with an accident when it was going towards Hyderabad.

CM begins review on Janmabhoomi program
Chief Minister Mr. N Chandra Babu Naidu said that people were accepting the Janmabhoomi Programme and that it was a big success for the Government. He said that discussions between the people and the authorities were taking place and that solutions for the problem will be taken. He said that decision on Power reforms in the state lies with the regulatory commission and that the Opposition parties are making meaningless comments on this.

Roads for all villages by 2007 - says Union Minister Mr. Venkiah Naidu
Union Minister Mr. Venkiah Naidu said that the Central Government is committed to provide road facilities to all villages in the country at a cost of Rs. 36,000 Crores by the end of 2007. He said that Greenery should be maintained to keep the environment clean and green. He said that funds for this project will be taken as loans from the World Bank if necessary.

Primary estimated loss due to recent rains put at Rs. 192 Crores
Agriculture Minister Mr. Vadde Sobhanadreswara Rao said that crops to a cost of Rs. 192 Crores were lost in the recent rains in Khammam, Krishna, Guntur, Nellore and Prakasam districts. He took part in a review meet on Janmabhoomi Program in Vijayawada.

Lok Satta organsises face to face program with Mayor candidates
Lok Satta organised a face-to-face programme with the Mayor candidates for the upcoming Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad elections. Members from the Congress, TDP and MIM took part while that of TRS did not attend.

Telugu Desam Party President Mr. Chandrababu Naidu said that TDP and BJP should work in hand to win the recent elections. He spoke with TDP members at a program held at NTR Bhawan. He said that parties such as MIM who support religious parties should not be brought to power.
