MIM and Congress reaches an agreement
MIM and Congress Party reached an agreement on sharing the Chairmanship of the Standing Committee and the Deputy Mayor post of the Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad. MIM won in 36 divisions while Congress clinched 20. CLP Leader Dr. Y S Rajasekhar Reddy and MIM Leader Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi discussed and reached an understanding in this regard.

The body of the 10-year old boy who was trapped inside a borewell for the last 3 days was recovered. It may be recalled that the boy could not be saved after 65 hours of intensive operations by L & T and Fire Services. The incident took place in Mahabubnagar.

An inmate of Cuddapah Juvenile Home, Siva Kumar died due to Hepatitis B while undergoing treatment at Cuddapah Government Hospital. The Minister for Woman and Child Welfare, S Saraswathi, visited Juvenile Home and expressed ire at the authorities concerned for the alleged incidence of Hepatities B and other diseases.
