Hoax bomb calls for AP and Prasanthi Express Police and Railway Security Forces had a tough time when they completely checked the AP Express and Prasanthi Express trains after a teaser called up saying a bomb was installed in the trains. Delhi Police got a phone call at around 7:05 PM only few minutes as the AP Express left from Delhi at 5:50 PM. A similar hoax called has alerted the security forces for the Hyderabad bound Prasanthi Express that left Bangalore. The Government decided to setup a committee to look into allocation of waters to Visakhapatnam city. The committee will be giving a report to the Chief Minister in 3 days time. The 3-men committee headed by former Vice-Chancellor of Osmania University Prof. V Rama Krishnayya began its discussions with various segments of people at the Andhra University. The committee is expected to give its report in due course to the Chief Minister. 50 persons were injured when two busses clashed at Taranampalle in Chitoor district.
