PCC Leaders warns of action against Government if they don't come to the rescue of farmers
M Satyanarayana Rao and Y Rajasekhar Reddy warned the Government that they are not going to sit idle if the Government tries to take away the resources from the farmers. They said that they are ready even to go to jail for the sake of farmers. They alleged that the Government has failed in providing the minimum resources to farmers. The duo spoke at a public meeting at K Kotapadu in Visakhapatnam.

The Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) has approved for the second phase works of the Rayalaseema Thermal Power Project (RTPP). Once the production starts, the cost of a unit of power gets down by 16 paise.

The Public hearing on four private power projects of the Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) has been changed to November 19, 2002 and will be held at the Court Hall. The hearing will be on the Gawtami Power Project, Jegurupadu Expansion-1 of the GVK Industries, Vemagiri Project Exapansio-1 and Konaseema Power Project.

The Congress Party Membership programme will begin on 28th of this month. Speaking in a press meet in a Guest House at Chodavaram, he said that they have set a target of 61 lakh members for this programme.
