CBI submits final report on Prathyusha case
The Central Bureau of Investigation submitted their final report in the death of film actress Ms. Prathyusha to the High Court. Members of the CBI and the Judges discussed on various points their chamber. The case was looked by Justice Motilal Naik and Justice G Rohini.

Abducted constable Chittibabu believed to be killed
Naxal group that took over Mr. Chittibabu -a constable a the Anakapalle Police Station was believed to have been killed. This was confirmed by Andhra Orissa Boarder Special Zone Secretary Mr. Bala Krishna. It information was also been sent to some Press offices in Padru. Police authorities were believed to have been told that the body of Mr. Chittibabu was at Kokkiripalle in G Madugula. The news of the death of the constable raised sadness among the family members and friends.

Water release from Nagarjuna for farmers
5000 to 6000 cusecs of water will be on its way in the Nagarjuna Left and Right Canals for the benefit of the farmers in Nalgonda and Guntur districts. This decision was taken by the Andhra Pradesh Government following estimation that more water will be added to River Krishna by September 1, 2002.
