CLP Leader alleges that TDP is raising funds for elections
Leader of the Congress Legislature Party Dr. YS Rajasekhar Reddy alleged that the Telugu Desam Party is gathering funds for the party and that TDP is accumulating the grains from the Food for Work. He spoke with the press in Ongole. He said that the funds being collected by various TDP Ministers would be used to buy votes for next elections. He said that the Congress party will stage dharna as its next course of action.

Govt. to put Video piracy on hold
Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu promised to set up a special division in CBCID and Intelligence to keep a check on Video and Audio piracy. He had an interaction with film personalities at Film Chamber in Hyderabad.

Maithili Prapanna Brahmachari murdered
Maithili Prapanna Brahmachari, a Fortune-teller was murdered by unidentified persons in the wee hours at his ashram. The victim’s body was found in a pool of blood. The police said that the motive behind the murder and the number of killers involved are yet to be known.

CLP Leader YS Rajasekhar Reddy demaded that the Praga Tools Ltd. be transferred back to Defence Ministry from the management of the Hindustan Machine Tools. He said that the Congress Legislature Party fully backed the agitation of the Praga Tools employees for achieving their genuine demands.

The Mandal Parishad Development Officer of Dhone, Fazul Basha and two others were suspended from their duties in the Food For Work rice Scandal. The Collector Mr. Sai Prasad announced the suspension at Kurnool. The inquiry led by the district Joint Collector Vikas Raj, revealed that there were no works executed corresponding to the rice released.

Seven naxalities surrendered before the Superintendent of Police of Warangal, Nalin Prabhat. The surrendered included two girls below 14 years and the commander of the Area Rakshaka Dalam of the People’s War. The SP said that the PW is deadd has lot its credibility.

Union Minister and Senior BJP Member Mr. Bandaru Dattatreya said that the 'Dunnagalege Vaaridhe Bhoomi' is a right program and that it will bring about stress on the Government to work in a more effective manner.

Minister Sri Janardhana Reddy said that the Medicine used at the NIMS Hospital which was experimented on 20 patients before it was found that they cause cancer on mice in their tests was stopped and they are checking the conditions of the patients regularly. He said that the medicine was manufacture by Dr. Reddy Labs.

Supporters of the TDP headed by Nookala Naresh Reddy attacked Mandal Praja Parishad members and on women when they demanded for the Food for Work coupons
