Farmers attacks HLC Water House Farmers began throwing stones at the Tungabhadra HLC Water Office demanding for the immediate release of water to their fields in Kanekal mandal in Anatapur district. The Deputy Engineer, SI and MRO who were in the area were injured and the vehicles of the Office were destroyed. 46th Clean and Green Program begins Its 46th Clean and Green Program in the state aiming at greenery in the state. The program was inaugurated by Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu who inaugurated the program in Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Cuddapah. The current phase of the program is aimed at planting 1.6 crore saplings. Chief Justice of AP High Court Sri AR Lakshmanan inaugurated a workshop for Judicial officers in Visakhapatnam. He said that 'faster justice is the need of the hour'. The 2-day workshop is for judicial officials from Vizianagaram, Srikakulam, Visakhapatnam and East Godavari districts.
