CM to talk with Karnataka counterpart on Tungabhadra Low Level water

Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu said that he will be talking with Karnataka counterpart Mr. SN Krishna in regard to drawing residual waters of the Tungabhadra Low Level canal by farmers.

13 year girl escapes from Naxals

A 13-year old girl who was lured by Naxals of the Peoples War Group during May last year, escaped from their clutches and surrendered before the Koyyur Police in Karimnagar.

Funeral of Sri Bhawanam held

The funeral of former Chief Minister Sri Bhawanam was held with all official rituals. Mr. B Srinuvasa Reddy, Son of Sri Bhawanam, lit the funeral pure amidst vedic chantings. Chief Minister Sri N Chandrababu Naidu, CLP Leader Dr. YS Rajasekhar Reddy and other MLA's and MP's were present at the place.

Mr. J C Sharma - Additional Commissioner of Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad was transferred as Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of AP Scheduled Caste Cooperative Finance Corporation. Similarly, another IAS Officer, Mr. C Uma Maheswara Rao was appointed as Secretary of AP Public Service Commission.
Mr. Ranbir Bakshi, Chairman of RANPHEAL who was working for the welfare of differently able, was presented the Life Time Achievement Award at a program held in Hyderabad.
