Farmers storms Zilla Parishad office

A Group of farmers stormed the Zilla Parisha office and disturbed the meeting of the General Body demanding for the release of water beyond the schedule from the Gajuladinne Project. The District Collector Mr. G Sai Prasad tried to conceal the farmers saying that the Government will have to take a decision in this regard.

50 houses guttered due to fire accident

About 50 huts were guttered in a fire accident at Mulugu Villege in Warangal district. Tough no one was injured due to fire, over 100 goats, fowls and cows were found to be burnt to death due to the fire.

Karnataka Government released water to Andhra

Karnataka Government released water from the Lekhya project at Kudarmukh area towards Andhra Pradesh. This water will come the rescue of the farmer community at Kurnool and Anantapur.
