Minister for Information and Public Relations Mr. S Chandramohan Reddy said that the Government has released Rs. 55 Crores towards Drinking water needs of the people in the state.
PCC President Sri M Satyanrayana Rao said that as many as 73 Congress Members from the state are leaving to Delhi to attend a meeting convened by AICC President Ms. Sonia Gandhi in regard to their functionality in non-Congress ruled states.
The CPI Hyderabad City Council picketed the Hyderabad Regional Passport Office protesting against the hike in the cost of passport application fee by 3 folds from Rs. 300 to Rs. 1000. A Team of members later submitted a memorandum to the Regional Passport Officer asking for a reduction atleast by Rs. 500.
