He inaugurated the Center for Good Governance at Dr. Marri Chenna Reddy Human Resources Development Center.
British Prime Minister Mr. Tony Blair visited Mahabubnagar at about 1 PM in afternoon. He is accompanied by his wife Mrs. Cherie Blair, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Mr. Chandrababu Naidu, Minister for Education Mr. M Venkateswara Rao and other officals. Chief Minister gave an interaction of the various programmes being implemented with the economical support of Briton. He said that he will work at his best to provide the best of literary services to bring illiterate villages of the state to light.

- Students of 6th and 7th Class of the School Sung a National Patriotic Song "Tenela Tetela Matalato…" They sung "Chitti Chitti …" with dance.
- Smt Savitramma, Chairperson of School Education Committee welcomed the Prime Minister with her Speech. She told that lot of improvement in the Village Education was made in the recent time.
- General Interaction with the School Children. CM said that the British Prime Minister Granted DFID Grant and gave economic support to them. About 34000 volunteers were a part of this program. New Ashram Schools were instituted at most of the districts in the state.
- Tony Blair said that "He is delighted to see the children. He said that Education is very important."
- The Prime Minister said that he wanted to hear from children what they want to become when they grow up big. One of the girl named 'Swathi' was called upon and she said she wanted to become engineer. His Excellency, Mr. Tony Blair had interaction and chit chat with the students of the school.
- A classical dance with sticks was performed by the Girl Students.
- He also visited the class rooms of the School which was constructed with the grants of Britan.
- He visited the Dwakra Bazaar and the Photo Exhibition which presented the Success of Dwakra and Watershed Projects. He Unveiled a Calendar with Dwakra Pictures in it.
- Later he spoke in an open meeting. The British couple were respected with Shawls and few good toys.
The British Prime Minister left to Hyderabad after Wishing "Good Luck" to all women of the Village. He spoke with the press upon reaching Hyderabad. He said that partnership between Briton and Andhra Pradesh has increased and that his visit to the state was a sucessful one.
A blast in a residential house at the out strikes of Hyderabad has killed 2 people. People who suffered with injured when the walls fell were sent to Gandhi Hospital. SP of Ranga Reddy Mr. Ramachandra Raju who inspected the spot said that a Gas leak from a LPG Cylinder of neighbor house was the reason for the blast and that expert investigation was called into this. Education Minister Mr. Mandava Venkateswara Rao said that the State Government has decided to introduced Information Technology as a part of the curriculum and that computer education will be introduced as an experimental basis in 100 schools in the state.
