HJ Dora appointed Director General of CISF
Mauritius Prime Minister Mr. Kasam Uteem left today after a 2 day tour in the state. He visited the Indian Airlines training base. He said that they will come to an agreement with the Prime Minister to give training to their pilots. He said that Mauritius will take Andhra Pradesh as inspiration in developing an IT state. He said that they look forward to bring good relationship between the tour countries.

Andhra Pradesh DIG Mr. HJ Dora has been promoted as the Director General of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). He will take charge after the Chief Minister returns to the state who is in an International tour.

CLP has suspended Maisoora Reddy as the secretary of the Congress Legislature Party as an disciplinary action.

The State Government has permitted Sri Venkateswara Medical College at Tirupati and Government Medical College at Anantapur in which 20 medical seats are vacant under the NRI Quota to be filled from the General pool. The cost of the course would be Rs. 5 Lakhs a year and it would cost Rs. 22 Lakhs for the full course since the NRI quota seats costs 10,000 USD per year.
