CPI and Left parties seizes Collectorate
The CPI(M) and other left parties seized the Collectorate of Anantapur in protest against the Government's apathy towards the farming sector in the state.

The State Government has decided not to get involved in the Resident Doctors Strike of the NIMS. The Director of NIMS, Dr. Kakarla Subba Rao said that it is upto the courts to take a decision on the issue. He also ruled out any possibility of privatisation of the institute.
