CLP Leader questions on how Govt. is going to repay loans
CLP Leader Dr. YS Rajasekhar Reddy said that the TDP led Government has been bringing too much loans and that it is not converting the money as assets. He questioned on how the Government is thinking of repaying them. He said that the Govt. is making magic with numbers and it is not clear on how to meet Vision 2020. Congress Leader Sri Suresh Reddy asked what conditions the Central Government or the World Bank made during giving loans to the state. He said that a situation may arrive where in Financial Emergency may be put in state. Replying to this Revenue Minister Sri Yenamala Ramakrishnudu said that no conditions were set by and that the Government has its own plans to repay loans with interest.

Govt. announces special package to Anantapur farmer
Chief Minister Sri N Chandrababu Naidu announced a special package of Rs. 236 Crores for the farmers of Anantapur. He said that special interest and subsidies will be provided for the development of parks, gardens and greenery in the state. He elaborated on the long term plans of the Government for the Anantapur farmer.

Left Parties said that they will be holding Rastha Rokho from tomorrow morning for about 40 hours in response to the deaths of the farmers in Anantapur.

Congress Party began a unique program of drawing attention of the people in regard to the deaths of farmers in Anantapur district. They began a 'begging program' outside Assembly and collected money for the people.

BJP Leader Sri Indrasena Reddy said that BJLP was dissatisfied with the water reforms taken up by the Government and that the decrease of funds to this areas was an incorrect decision.

MIM Leader Sri Assiruddin Owaisi said that the speech by Governor did not include a word on Government talks with Naxals and this is a representation of Governments firmness and interest on the issue. CLP Leader Sri Y S Rajasekhar Reddy commented that TDP and BJP has stopped Minorities from taking their votes in the recent MCH Elections.

He questioned why TDP is silent even tough Ayodhya issue was getting bigger every day. Replying to this, Home Minister Sri T Devendar Goud said that TDP will be standing first to fight and preserve secularism.

Telugu Desam Party President Mr. M Chandrababu Naidu suggested that all members of the party have to change and work hard for the development works of the party. He addressed at the conclusion of TDP Party Workers Training Program for Assembly segments of East and West Godavari and Krishna Districts at the NTR Trust Bhavan in Hyderabad. He took a preview of the movie 'Swarnandrapradesh'. CM also promised that round the clock power supply will be given beginning August 1 in all the villages in the state.

A Divisional Bench of the Andhra Pradesh High Court sentenced two Legal Correspondents of leading Telugu Dailies - Vaartha and Andhra Jyothi to one month's simple imprisonment. The case was on Mr. Sharat Kumar and Pradip Kumar. The Divisional Bench felt that 'the rights of press persons are not higher than that of a common man".

Minister for School Education - Mr. Mandava Venkateswara Rao said that a law for making education compulsory for the children of age groups 5 - 15 will be brought in the assembly during the current session.

Mr. N Ramana Reddy (28) who was the owner of 20-acres of land died committing suicide failing to find no other alternative to pay his increased debts.

Corrected budget adopted at VMC
The corrected budget proposals of the Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation were adopted in a special meeting held at the Tenneti Bhavan. The latest version of the budget has placed surplus of Rs. 5.98 Crores instead of the earlier figure of Rs. 5.77 Crores.
