SKIS for Secretariat from May

The Andhra Pradesh Government announced that the Secretariat will be using a new Secretariat Knowledge Information System (SKIS) starting from 1 May 2002. The new computerized solution will make it easy for handling of files - which will be created and sent to other desks electronically - thus paving the way for e-Governance. By August 15, the system will be implemented in all Districts in the state and thus all Departments of the Government will be on an E-Track.

7th INTACH Heritage Awards presented

Governor Dr C Ranagarajan awarded the 7th INTACH Heritage Awards 2002 for preserving heritage buildings without compromising with the historicy and authenticity of the structures.
