Sri Kotla laid to rest

The Funeral of Sri Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy was held at the banks of River Hundri in Kurnool District. Chief Minister of Karnataka S M Krishna, Senior Congress Members Sri N D Tiwari, Sri M Satyanarayana Rao, Sri YS Raja Sekhar Reddy, Sri N Janardhan Reddy, Sri Mallu Ravi, Ministers Dandu Sivarama Raju, Sri Mohan Reddy, Sri Ram Bhupal Choudary and others paid homage to Sri Kotla and were present at the Funeral place. Chief Minister Sri Chandra Babu Naidu said that the funeral place will be converted into a Memorial. The Police fired 21 times in Air as a honor to Sri Kotla.

Ms. Sushma Swaraj said that the Center is committed to end Terrorism. She visited Hyderabad and spoke with the BJP Members.

Members of FBI visits Hyderabad
Police Officials announced that 2 members of the Federal Bureau of Investigation visited Hyderabad in regard to investigation in which two members from Old City of Hyderabad went to the US with fake passports.

Members of Students Islamic Movement of India arrested
The Hyderabad Police arrested some of the members of the Students Islamic Movement of India which has been banned by the State and National Governments in the country. They were brought before the 16th Metropolitan Magistrate at the Metropolitan Criminal Courts Complex in Hyderabad.

Homeage paid to Mr. Gandhi
Mr. Gandhi who were killed by the Naxals yesterday at Saluru. Sri A K Khan took part in the funeral and condolenced the family members. TDP Parliamentary leader Sri Yerram Naidu, Mayor Mrs. Rajana Ramani, MLA Mrs. P Varalakshmi, Mr. Hari Babu and others paid homage to the body of Sri Gandhi. Slogans were raised against Naxals.

The Cyclone Warning Center at Visakhapatnam said that heavy rains would continue for the next 48 hrs before the low pressure belt in the sea weakens.

One Women died on the spot when two more were badly injured as a mine fell all of a sudden in Markhapur area in Prakasam District.

Prof. R Srihavi was nominated as the Vice Chancellor of Dravida University located at Kuppam of Chitoor District. Chancellor and Governor of Andhra Pradesh Sri Ranga Rajan issued the necessary orders in this regard.

The Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam earned Rs. 6.7 Crores during the 9 days Brahmotsavams out of which Rs. 6.4 Crores was through the hundi. About 9 Lakhs devotees visited Tirumala during the 9 days.
