Congress, CPI stages walkout off Assembly

Members of the Congress staged a walkout from the Assembly after the Government said that it will not form any enquiry committee for the recent elections. Meanwhile, members of the CPI also staged a walkout as the Government has not presented the Punayya Commission report. Home Minister said that the Government is working on with an action plan and that this along with the Punayya Commission will be put before the Assembly.

Senior Congress Leader Sri Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy recovering
The Health Condition of Senior Congress Leader Sri Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy was recovering. Governor Sri Ranga Rajan visited the Apollo Hospitals today to check his health condition. Hospital authorities said that the Oxygen Ventilators which were installed yesterday removed and that he is naturally breathing.

Mayor of Visakhapatnam Mrs. Rajana Ramani inaugurated Brundavan Park at Lawson's Bay Colony in Visakhapatnam. Commissioner Sri Sanjay Jaaju was present at the inauguration function.

Election work at Siddipeta and Viyyuru completed
Work for the Elections for Siddipeta ( Medak ) and Viyyuru ( Krishna ) Legislature constituencies was completed as the voters will caste their vote tomorrow. TRS Leader Sri R Chandrasekhara Rao said that he is confident that he will in the elections and that Telangana statehood issue is of prime importance. The elections at the two constituencies will use Electronic Voting machines.

Medak MP Mr. Narendra suspended from BJP
Medak MP Sri A Narendra staged a meeting at Hyderabad on the Telangana statehood. BLP Parliamentary Member Sri Malhotra said that Mr. Narendra was suspended for his involvement of staging a meeting on the Telangana issue.

The State Government decided to award 5 full marks in the DSC 2001 exams held in August because some questions has more than one answer. This was reveled by Minister Sri Kadiyam Sri Hari. The results for the same will be released by October ending and complete the interviews during November.

Police filed a cheating case against two people who were recently held by the US police. Initial investigation by the Police reveled that one of the passport is a fake one while there was incorrect date of birth in the other.

The arrangements for tomorrow's Bramhotsavam to be held at Tirumala are completed. Thousands of devotees from round the world will be coming to take the Dharna of Lord Sri Venkateswara .

Members of the Andhra Pradesh Revenue Employees Union staged Dharna opposite Collector offices in various districts today.
