Members of the Congress and Majilis said that the Andhra Pradesh Government has not been showing interest in development of Urdu language in the state during the Question Hour in Assembly. Replying to the question, the Government has made it clear that all Urdu Schools in the state will have full teaching staff. Minister Sri Kadiyam Srihari also said that some Primary schools will be upgraded to Upper Primary School. He also said that about 1000+ new teachers will be appointed to the Urdu medium through DSC 2001.
Government announced that it was working on to provide Rope Way and Queue Complex to Sri Sailam in similar lines to Tirumala Tirupati. Minister Sri Dandu Sivarama Raju said that the Government was already construction Marriage Halls, Queue Complex, Hospital etc.
Minister for Tourism E. Peddireddy said that the Tourism Department has been working on to provide basic infrastructure at tourism spots which were handed over to the Private section so that it becomes easy for them to begin the works.
The Government has made it clear that it has no idea of increasing ACB in response to a question raised by TDP MLA Sri Palle Raghunadha Reddy. Replying to the question, Minister Sri Ashok Gajapathi Raju said that it will be working on to form an independent body for the quick clearing of certain types of cases.
The Assistant Manger of Krushi Bank, Mr. P Gurumurthy Reddy was arrested by the CID Officials. It was believed that Mr. Reddy was chiefly involved in issuing loans with wrong names.
District Collector, Mr. JSV Prasad inaugurated a Seminar on "Electrical Energy Conservation Practices in Industries". The Chief Electrical Inspector of AP, Sri K Muralidhar was also present. The seminar discussed at length about safe, efficient and conservative means of using power.
