9 people died in a road accident in Allampur National Highway 7 in Mahaboobnagar when a APSRTC Bus and a Diesel Auto collided. 5 more people who escaped with injuries were treated at Kurnool Government Hospital. One women of them is in critical situation.

TDP Leader killed by Naxals
Mr. Siddam Venkateswarulu (40) - a senior TDP leader was shot dead by Naxals of the Peoples War Group in Machayapalem village in Guntur district. He was killed when he was entering into a hotel near the bus stop.
