Police arrests Left Party members in Hyderabad

Police arrested many leaders of Left Parties who demonstrated against the Government in support to APSRTC Employee Unions Khairathabad. Members of the CITU staged a demonstration. Writers Association also expressed their support to the Employee Unions.

Meanwhile, the State Government Minister Team began fresh talks with Employee Unions.

TDP Party President Sri Chandrababu Naidu said that it is not democratic to destroy APSRTC Busses. He said that the Opposition parties will be loosing ground and will not win peoples confidence. He spoke with TDP Members at NTR Bhavan today.

BJP said that its leader and Union Minister Sri Venkiah Naidu or his PA was not in any way involved in any case in regard to occupation of lands of Happy Home Apartments.

Mr. Sunil Sharma took charge as the District Collector of Visakhapatnam. He succeeded Mr. J S V Prasad who was transferred as Director for Dept. for Horticulture. Mr. Sharma is earlier District Collector of Prakasam District.

State Level Tennicoit competitions were inaugurated today at Visakhapatnam by Minister for Sports Sri Tammineni Seetaram. He later laid foundation stone to Auditorium which will be built at a cost of Rs. 6 Lakhs.
