Strike by APSRTC Employee Unions reaches 10th day
The strike of APSRTC employees reached 10th day with no visibility of an end to it in the near future. Chief Minister Sri Chandrababu Naidu has held a meet with Cabinet Committee members and discussed on various options available. Home Minister Sri Devendar Goud, Transport Minister B.V. Mohan Reddy and other were present at the meet. Government restated that it will stand on the package it has given earlier. Meanwhile reports says that 5500 busses were on roads today in the state.
The Bundh called by APSRTC Employee Unions and other political parties except the TDP and BJP in Nellore district ended peacefully.
The State BJP Dalit Morcha requested the Central Government to probe against Mr. Ajit Jogi by CBI.
Andhra Pradesh Congress Party President Mr. M Satyanarayana Rao warned that Government of any idea of privatising the State Transport system.
A Seminar on Terrorism in Kashmir - Options for India was held at Visakhapatnam on the Occasion of United Nations Day against Terrorism. Eminent speakers including Dr. T Hanuman Chowdary, IT Advisor to the Government of Andhra Pradesh spoke at the meet.
Mr. S Panduranga Rao is dead
The General Secretary of Hyderabad City Congress Committee, Mr. S Panduranga Rao was found dead at a railway crossing in the early hours. Mr. Rao was out for a morning walk but hasen't returned home even after hours. His body was found to be runover by an Express train and was found in pieces. Supporters of Mr. Rao gathered at his house in large numbers.

Satyam Computer Services reported Q2 profits and a good shine in its business during the period. It added 24 more clients with 100% increase in its profits.
