Transport Minister Mr. BV Mohan Reddy requested the employees of APSRTC to join their duties

The Joint Action Committee of APSRTC stated that they will not compromise in their decisions. They called the Employees to be prepared to do any kind of sacrifice if required. They said that the Government should come forward with some favorable ideas. Mr. Ramarao pleaded the Government not to privatize APSRTC.

Transport Minister Mr. BV Mohan Reddy requested the employees of APSRTC to join their duties keeping in mind of the immense losses that were added recently to APSRTC.

CPI(M) and other Allies staged a Dharna at Indira Park in Hyderabad. They said that the Chief Minister is making APSRTC Employee Union strike a political issue.

Naxals of the Peoples War Group extended their support to the APSRTC Employee Unions in their strike. This was stated by Mr. Jampanna, Secretary, North Telangana Special Zone Committee.

Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Mr. Digvijay Singh visited Hyderabad on a 1 day visit. He met APCC President Mr. M Satyanaryana. He later spoke with the press and felt that there is nothing wrong in making astrology as a subject.

The AICC said that they are ready to face any open discussion on APSRTC issue with the Government.
